- ▪St. Louis style spareribs
- ▪1 tablespoon olive oil or canola oil
- ▪Oakland Dust Pork Rub
- ▪Apple Juice
- ▪Brown sugar
- ▪¼ stick of butter
Remove the membrane from bone side of your rack of ribs. Lightly coat the ribs with olive or canola oil
Liberally Dust your ribs with Oakland Dust Pork Rub. Heat your grill or smoker to 225-degrees (indirect heat). Cook for 3 hours covered and do not open that lid!
After 3 hours coat with a dusting Pork Rub, brown sugar, a few pads of butter and about 1/2 cup of apple juice. Wrap in foil and cook for 1 hour meat side down.
Remove from foil, Dust with Oakland Dust Pork Rub, sauce and cook for another 45 minutes to an hour spritzing with apple juice every 15 minutes. Remove ribs and let rest for 15 minutes before eating.
